Art and culture

‘How to be a Dancer in Seventy-two Thousand Easy Lessons’ is a boundary-blurring dance-theatre work by acclaimed choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan.
Weaving together memory, history, and imagination, it journeys from 1970s Ireland to the present day in a playful yet deeply moving exploration of identity, love, and defiance.
Co-created with dancer Rachel Poirier and lighting designer Adam Silverman, this internationally celebrated production blends movement, storytelling, and ritual into an unforgettable performance.
Nominated for a 2024 Sky Arts Award, it has captivated audiences from New York to Paris — and now comes to the stage for four nights only this September.
