Dance performance: ZooNation's Ebony Scrooge

Sadler’s Wells East hosts a bold, hip hop reinvention of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol from storytelling dance powerhouse ZooNation. 
Created by east London-born choreographer Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe, with original music by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, this vibrant production follows Ebony, a powerful fashion mogul who cancels Christmas for her landmark show. 
When three mystical visitors take her on a journey through her Caribbean heritage, she’s forced to rethink her life, success, and happiness. 
Blending hip hop, comedy, and physical theatre, this family-friendly spectacle is bursting with energy, heart, and groove as a festive treat for all ages.
